Review of February 2019
Yes, it is another month of perseverance in sticking with the habit of shipping 200 words every day and maintain the daily streak. I still have not cracked the quality of the words or a theme for which I need to be known for or coherent pattern. But I am not going to focus on that in the next month also. I want to fine tune this habit in my daily schedule. I don't want to write the 200 words at the end of the day where I am damn tired and do a half-assed job. I want to write when I am active in the mornings. I also want to explore Julia Cameron's Artist Way suggestion of the Morning Pages.
I had added this new habit for the month of February. It is an attempt to revive an old inconsistent habit. I had purchased Calm app's lifetime subscription so months ago. I have maintained a daily streak in the app. Most of the days, I meditated immediately after I woke up from the bed. It really works for me as a stacked habit, right after waking up. Again, I tried various different options in the Calm app. Like 7-days of focus, 7-days of gratitude and so on. But I will stick with a 15-mins mediation with a bell in every 2 minutes. Hoping to continue this habit in March as well.
This is the new habit for March. Inspired by the 7-days of gratitude meditation in Calm and also by @brandonwilson, I want to try this out. Enough has been written about the need to practise gratitude and its benefits for mental health. Wish me luck for maintaining a continuous streak. I will update you on my experiences with this habit.
